For the price, this was a good place to stay, right in central Rethymnon and well looked after. The hosts and facility were great overall. At check-in, the room was still being cleaned even though it was past the check-in time. We waited a couple of minutes, then had to enter while the floors were wet and the cleaning chemicals smelled strong. The safe had problems too. We were warned about it, but entered a pin correctly and checked that it locked and unlocked before putting our documents inside. Both nights, it started beeping repeatedly in the middle of the night. Our code wouldn’t open it or stop the noise. I messaged the worker around 4-5am, and thankfully he came right away with the key so we could get our documents and check out. If these issues are addressed, I think it would be a great place for visitors to Rethymnon. Thank you!

The manager was really helpful and quick to respond, even when I arrived at 2am without letting him know I’d be late. My terrace room at Ark 68 City Rooms was spacious and clean, with a good bathroom and air-conditioning. For the reasonable price, I thought the quality was a great match. You could pay more somewhere else for a sea view or fancier interiors, but I was very happy here and would recommend it. I’d stay again.

Kostos and Chrissy were so courteous and pleasant, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. The spacious room was kept extremely clean, with fresh bedding changed more often than usual. Really good service. I’d highly recommend this place.

We decided at the last minute during the night, and the staff arrived within 10 minutes, even offering to show us the room. A wonderful city room in the very center of Rethymno. Definitely recommend it!

Do the rooms include cleaning, and how often is it done? Are towel and sheet changes part of that service? I also noticed that some rooms seem to have an open entrance to the bathroom. Are there doors for the toilet/WC?
