The hotel sits on a hill, so walking back means some uphill stretches, which could be hard in warmer weather. Still, it has its own parking, a pool, and lovely views across the city and sea. Breakfast was an awesome, varied buffet. We also played chess in the game room, though we didn't use the gym.

We were really well looked after, with clean rooms and helpful staff throughout our stay. The hotel is up on a pretty hill surrounded by forest, with a lovely view, and downtown Rethymnon is only about 10 minutes away. We'd recommend it to couples.

You can get into the city quickly on foot using a special path beside the pool. The hotel has a fitness center at no charge and free parking, and the place was clean with friendly personnel. There are also nice views over Rethymno and the sea.

The meals were delicious, and the staff were friendly and spoke English and Dutch. It's a lovely hotel near a small forest on the hill, around 15 minutes from the beach, though it took us about 10. I'd recommend it to everyone.

The sea view from this nice hotel on the hill is amazing. The service was friendly, and you can walk into town in about 20-25 minutes, a good stroll after dinner. Thanks to the Hotel team!
