John Mary Suites

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the location was great. Parking right beside the hotel was very convenient, with a special rate for John Mary guests, €15 per day when we stayed. An iron was the only thing missing, but we asked the next day and they gave us one.

We stayed for 3 nights and they didn’t empty the garbage bin once. We had to ask for another toilet paper roll every day. There were only two coffee capsules for our 3 day booking, and when we asked for a few more, they pointed us to the supermarket. The towels were the smallest I’ve ever seen. The enormous refrigerator was loud all night, even though the room had no cooking facilities. And whenever anyone opened or closed another door in the corridor, our room door banged.

The room was spotless and nicely put together, and the owner and staff were genuinely warm and helpful. It’s a cute spot right in the old town, with restaurants and the sights an easy walk away.

That oversized hot tub bath was a pleasant surprise, and the modern room was clean and comfortable. John & Mary Suites is right in the old town, so we could walk everywhere. We also tried the discounted breakfast at Cul-de-Sac, which was the biggest and best we’ve had. We had a fantastic stay and would happily return. Thanks for having us, S&J.
