The hosts were warm and always smiling, and made us feel at home. Our room was spotless, cozy, and decorated with obvious care. We also loved the setting, peaceful and surrounded by nature, while still only a short way from town. We had such a lovely stay and would definitely return.

Patriko Estate is tucked into a tiny, charming village in the Rethymno countryside, about a 15-minute drive from the sea. It was a great spot to get away from the city while remaining close enough to enjoy it. We stayed four nights in mid-August, and it was the best experience we've had in Crete. Our room, Irene, was clean, cozy, and fully equipped, and the host was lovely. We used the Jacuzzi most nights and enjoyed the complimentary wine. Thank you, Fotini, for a lovely stay. There was even another room with my name on it!

We only booked two nights and wished we'd stayed longer. The two-story suite had a lovely view of Rethymno and a perfect sunset, plus it was equipped with just about everything: a kitchen, washing machine, fridge, air fryer, and two WCs. The bed and mattress were great, and there was room for a family of four or a group of friends. The Jacuzzi and small pool were the highlights. A big thank you to Ms. Fotini, who made us feel at home.
