Petradi Beach Lounge Hotel by GHH

AVOID! The price doesn't match the quality. The doors are paper thin, so you hear everything from the road even in sea-facing rooms. The corridors are noisy too, making it impossible to sleep. Breakfast was like an old-fashioned canteen, with basic, low-quality food that didn't match the booking photos. The beach was dirty and hadn't even been cleaned. When we complained or asked to cancel the rest of the booking, they did nothing.

I was already on my way to the airport when I realized I'd left my phone in the room. I called the hotel, and they found it right away and arranged for a taxi to bring it to the airport. That response was impressive, and I'm very grateful. The hotel was cozy and pleasant, about a 20-minute walk from the Old Town, which made it easy to explore on foot. Our rooms were always clean and well kept, and the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. The staff were so kind and helpful throughout our stay. We had an amazing vacation here. Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I'd definitely recommend it.

The room was noisy, with sounds from outside carrying in and disturbing our sleep. We had half board, but there wasn't much food offered at dinner, and breakfast at the restaurant was very sparse. I expected much better, and it didn't feel like value for money. It's about a 25-minute walk from the old town, with no on-site parking. The nearest free parking is a 10-12 minute walk away. The family room wasn't designed well: the main bed is in a loft with no ventilation or air conditioning, and the toilet is very small.

The balcony had a lovely view over Rethymno town and the fortress. The bar made the best drinks by the beach, and the snack menu was really yummy. Staff were kind and accommodating, and the rooms were always spotless. Breakfast was good too, and lovely to eat by the sea. The most relaxing holiday :)
