Belair Beach Hotel

The food had so much choice, and the hotel was lovely and clean. All the staff were attentive to what holidaymakers needed, friendly, and ready to help make the stay enjoyable. It was my first time in Rhodes, Ixia, and I absolutely loved staying at BELAIR Beach Hotel. We also went sightseeing on Simi Island and in the Old Town. I’ll definitely come back, and stay longer than seven days next time. All inclusive is definitely the best. 😍🥰👍

The infinity pool was great, and the restaurant had plenty of tasty Greek dishes alongside chips and pizza. The staff were lovely, especially Sofia in the restaurant, and the barman served us quickly. I’d consider an executive room next time and stay ten days so I could fit in more trips. It was a fab holiday at the Belair 😊 Some of the decor and upkeep felt more like three stars to me, so the four-star rating seems ambitious. The bathroom hairdryer looked like it was from the 80s. I also felt a bit like I was back at school, handed an info sheet full of rules, including no sitting on the side of the pool? 🤣 And the marble floors and slippery tiles weren’t great in wet weather. One receptionist gave me Joyce Temple-Savage from Benidorm vibes.

The restaurant staff worked incredibly hard, and the rooms were kept clean. Towels and sheets were changed every other day. I’d suggest booking B&B or half board, since there are plenty of local restaurants within walking distance on either side of the hotel. The all-inclusive option didn’t seem worth it to us. The hotel faces the sea, but it’s right beside a busy road and can be noisy. It’s rated four stars, though I’d put it closer to three. Parts of the hotel felt dated, with old furniture and unused areas that looked unchanged since it first opened. The entertainment wasn’t to our taste. Neither pool was heated, and both felt Baltic cold. Even the children’s pools had very few people in them.

We left Rhodes with lovely memories from our first visit and will definitely return to Belair. It was our first time on the island, and we’re so glad we picked this hotel. Every staff member we met was warm and kind, and made us feel welcome. The food selection was rich and varied. Special thanks to Georg, who was always polite and cheerful. The hotel was lovely, clean and well kept. We only have good things to say. Thank you to the hotel and its wonderful team!
