The host was welcoming and helpful, and Ms mary outside pointed us toward the apartment when we had trouble finding it. The old town location was great, and the terrace had lovely views, though getting up there was a bit steep. The fridge worked well and stayed cold. The boiling equipment looked old, so I'd avoid using it. The apartment appliances could use an update. One practical tip: arrange luggage pickup if you can, since dragging bags over the old town's stone roads was a nuisance.

The quiet spot in the old Town was a real plus, and the aircon handled the heat well. Service was attentive and friendly, and breakfast added good value. Everything was neat and clean. My only real complaint is the bed: the mattresses were too thin, and I could feel the springs. I'd still recommend the place aside from that.

I had to cancel under the stated policy, which entitled me to a full refund, but the owner didn't return the entire amount. That's unacceptable, and I wouldn't recommend booking with Emerald Dream House. You may not get all your money back.

I stayed inside the fortress walls, with a lovely rooftop terrace looking over the old town. When the weather turned bad, Ioannis brought me an umbrella and shared helpful tips about the city. The apartment does need some practical improvements: the windows and shutters could be better, and there's no kitchen sink, so dishes have to be washed in the bathroom.
