Esperia City Hotel

I had a lovely room for my week in May, and the breakfast was well managed with something for everyone. The room was cleaned well and there were plenty of fresh towels. There are lots of restaurants near the hotel, and I plan to stay here again.

Thin walls were the main drawback. We could hear people in the hallway and neighboring rooms clearly, so the sound insulation isn't good. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and comfortable, with friendly staff and good breakfasts. It's just a short walk from both the beach and Rhodes Old Town. Daily room cleaning was consistent, and the service was great. I'd recommend staying here for the location and service, as long as the noise doesn't put you off.

The location worked well for us, with both beaches about a 10-minute walk away and restaurants, supermarkets, souvenir shops, and pharmacies nearby. Breakfast had plenty of sweet, savory, healthy, and fast-food options, with something changing each day. The staff, from reception to the kitchen and room team, were friendly and helpful. There’s a pool too, which some guests may appreciate, and rooms were cleaned regularly. Booking was reasonably priced. The room felt cramped, with barely any space to move and just one power socket. The bathroom was tiny and smelled odd from the start; the toilet seat was badly scuffed. The air conditioning dried the air but didn’t cool the room very well. Our mini fridge leaked and had a loose door. We reported it, but it wasn’t repaired.

We had a great time here. As queer people, we felt safe and welcome, and the employees were really kind and considerate.
