We came across Mango early in our six days in Rhodes town, but we’d already eaten, so we only stopped for a drink. We went back on our last day, and the staff remembered us and were so friendly. I had the feta with honey, then seafood spaghetti, and ended up eating almost three courses. My partner had a lovely T-bone steak. It’s a bit of a walk, but well worth it. Highly recommend.

We tried saganaki, Greek salad, dolmades, lamb souvlaki, and a meze plate. The food was really good and fairly priced, and the service was enthusiastic. The Restsina was local and good value, while the Greek coffee was top notch and the grappa was also a good deal. They even brought complimentary ice cream at the end. Recommended.

My friend and I came across this place by chance and decided to give it a try. We left really full after all the tasty food. The owners are lovely, warm people, and Dimitris gave us great service. We definitely weren’t disappointed.

We first came here five years ago and returned this year to the same friendly service and great food. It’s still my favourite taverna on the island. They’re fun and welcoming to families too. My daughter was given lots of pretty flower petals and a magnet. Prices are more reasonable than almost anywhere else in the old town. We didn’t stay at the hotel, and hadn’t even realized they had one, but the location is great and I’d absolutely stay there.
