Venezia Resort Hotel & Spa

The friendly staff made our stay fun and never made us feel like a burden. The all inclusive drinks had plenty of options for most people, and the views and atmosphere were lovely. We visited at the beginning of October, just my daughter and me. The food was adequate, though the desserts didn’t have much variety. It’s an affordable option in Rhodes that I’d happily recommend.

The different pools and areas were handy when it got busy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a brilliant two weeks at Venezia, with loads of choice and amazing food. The all inclusive drinks were lovely too. Entertainment was a highlight, thanks to Nino, Rio and the team. We had a great time and will visit again. Thank you all.

The pools were clean, and staff around the hotel were pleasant and chatty. We’d definitely come again and recommend it. A few details could be better: our floor didn’t seem to get cleaned during our seven days, though towels and sheets were changed every two to three days. A do not disturb sign would also help, since we were in the room during cleaning hours a few times and had to ask the cleaners to return. We arrived late at night, but reception staff were kind and explained what to expect. The room was clean and tidy when we got there. The restaurant is a short walk away in another part of the hotel. Food was okay and didn’t change much from night to night. Picky eaters should find decent options, though desserts weren’t really to my taste. There’s a shop on site for snacks at reasonable prices, and reception is open 24 hours. A taxi into town cost €10.50 for a ride of about three minutes, which felt a little expensive; the alternative is a 20-minute walk, uphill and not much fun in the daytime.

After checkout we could still use the all inclusive benefits, and there was luggage storage, showers and free towels for the day. That was a nice touch. The animation team were great fun, with good entertainment, competitions and music. The pools have different atmospheres, so there’s a choice, and the daytime pool activities and waterslides were fun. One small snag, the poolside bathroom had no soap for two days in a row. The food was tasty, with a good range of food and drinks included. There’s also a hotel shop for extra snacks or drinks. Our room was nicely presented, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was good. Cleaners came daily. From arrival, every staff member we met was friendly and welcoming. They helped us book taxis, and the hotel provided a bus to Rhodes and spa treatments. Thanks for a wonderful stay, especially Stergos for his hospitality.
