Virginia Apartments

The hotel had a pleasant atmosphere, which I liked, but several parts of the stay disappointed me. I booked one kind of room and was given another. I felt the explanations about it were misleading, and there wasn’t a proper solution. I eventually got a partial refund through the booking agency. The all-inclusive food had less variety and lower quality than I expected, with especially few choices for anyone who doesn’t eat pork. Bottled water was complimentary only on the first day, with none provided for the rest of the stay. The room mix-up, food options, and some service details left a poor impression despite the nice surroundings.

My daughter has a milk allergy, and the team took real care with her meals. She had no reaction, which let us relax a lot more. The food was flavourful and felt thoughtfully prepared. Thanks especially to Teo at bar, both ladies on the F&B team, Annetta at the buffet, the head Chef, and chef arris for being kind, attentive, and careful about her allergy. Natalie at reception welcomed us and was helpful from the start, finding a solution to every problem. Mayola kept everything spotless and comfortable with excellent housekeeping. And guest relation Marisol seemed to appear just when you needed her. We had a great stay and appreciated how much care the whole team showed. We’d happily return and recommend the hotel.

We arrived in February through a travel agency and didn’t know where we’d be staying. After a short bus ride we were taken to the „Virginia Hotel Resort“. It’s right by the beautiful sea, and even though the staff were just getting started and preparing for the season, everything felt exceptionally nice. Teo, the general Manager, was super friendly and took time each morning to make me a cappuccino, even with plenty of guests around. He put his whole heart into making our stay pleasant. The rooms were clean and fine, with no unnecessary luxury, so don’t expect a presidential suite, just a fair, normal room. We’ll definitely be back 😉

The room was lovely, but getting around was difficult for me as an older person with mobility issues. The stairs had no rails, which was a big problem. The dining area toilets were two flights down, and only then did we find out they were out of order. A notice at the top would have helped. With the age groups the hotel caters for, I felt the accessible facilities were lacking.
