Bristol Residence ( B.Lagoon)

It was very quiet and clean, and the Wi-Fi worked really well. The pool was very large and well maintained, with facilities for children. The staff and hosts were friendly, and when I was there with my three-month-old child, they offered all the help I needed. We’ll come back.

There wasn’t a check-in desk, and no sign to indicate that this was the hotel, so the room wasn’t what I expected. Apparently the pool was cleaner than it had been in March, but there were weeds everywhere. The pool was the only amenity for guests. I probably won’t return.

It’s a really nice, calm place for families, where you can properly relax. The huge pool takes up the middle of the courtyard, and the beach is a five-to-ten-minute walk away. The staff are extremely pleasant, especially Ekaterina, the chief, and Romeo, the operative chief. Wi-Fi is free in the shared areas, the yard and bar. There’s no signal in the rooms, though most rooms can reach it from the common area. The speed is limited, but not too slow. Each room has air conditioning for an additional fee. For a low- to medium-budget summer holiday in Greece, I’m serious, this is the best place.

The staff were helpful and the location was good. This place could be brilliant with tidier gardens and more outdoor lighting.
