Quiet surroundings and lovely sea scenery made this a really relaxing place to stay. Our apartment was clean, comfortable, and looked after well, with everything we needed. We had a fantastic time at AVRA Sfakia Apartments and would gladly return.

I only wish we'd booked more nights. The balcony looked out over the sea, and there was private parking. Inside, the apartment was spotless and had loads of useful things, including a washing machine with pods, soap, and shower gel. We were also welcomed with homemade biscuits, then coffee, olives, and water. Great location, highly recommend.

We really valued how friendly the service was before, throughout, and after our visit, as well as the warm welcome and delicious basket. The studio was lovely and comfortable, in a quiet spot near Chora Sfakion. Its views over the Libyan Sea and mountains were a bonus, and it made a great base for seeing the beautiful south of Crete. Highly recommended!

They brought an umbrella for the garden when we asked, and the traditional basket of local products was a nice touch. The staff were kind, the house was clean, and they seem like good people.

Delfini Tavern is just a short stroll from Avra Sfakia Apartments, and both are run by the same hardworking family. We ate some wonderful traditional Cretan food there, made with fresh local ingredients and care. The family-run apartments felt warm and welcoming too, with plenty of space and beautiful sea views. We had a memorable stay and would definitely recommend it for an authentic Cretan experience.
