Sofia's Lovely Rooms

The garden courtyard is stunning, and it made a perfect spot for an evening picnic. Our room was bright and very clean, with a little balcony and a corner drying rack that was ideal for rinsing our bathing suits at the end of the day. Yannis gave us the warmest welcome and was pleasant throughout our stay. The location, just one street up from the main harbour, meant we didn’t have to walk up very steep hills. There’s a supermarket right next door, along with a fantastic bakery serving lovely coffee and baked goods. I highly recommend these accommodations for the location, amenities, and wonderful service.

The owner was very friendly, and the back garden is truly special. Still, I was a little disappointed by the ocean view, as the pictures felt misleading. From the first floor, you look onto another building, with no view, though there are some plants on the balcony. The room was small and the bathroom so-so. There was also smoking inside, and it woke us up even two floors above.

For a stay in wonderful Chora Sfakion, this is the place. The people are wonderful, the rooms are spotless and smart, and the price is great. There’s free parking too. Stay here, then take boat trips to other parts of the island for a wonderful holiday.

Niki and Giannis were kind and attentive to the little details, and they made us feel at home. We’ll definitely return to Crete. Sofia's lovely rooms is a very nice, recently renovated place, with a secluded garden that’s perfect for unwinding with a book. Our bright, clean and spacious room comfortably fit our family of four. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was clean and nice, with complimentary products. We enjoyed complimentary morning coffee on the balcony with a sea view. It was a perfect way to start the day.
