Alexis Pool Apartments

The accommodation itself isn’t four star, but we’ve stayed here two years in a row because the people are five star. George and Alexis, Aria, and the maids would do anything to make your holiday the best. Thanks for everything, all of you. Hope to see you next year, and enjoy your rest.

We had to leave after four nights and pay for another hotel ourselves. This was the worst holiday accommodation we’ve ever had, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. We stayed in August 2025, and the room was filthy, with visible mold that set off my partner’s asthma. The bathroom was unhygienic and smelled damp all the time. The beds were rock hard and gave us back pain. Advertised things like TV and WiFi weren’t there at all. There was never anyone at reception to deal with problems, and the poor cleanliness and upkeep made the stay stressful instead of relaxing.

We had a lovely stay and plan to come back. The owners and staff are kind, and there’s a friendly feel. The pool and rooms are kept beautifully clean, with plenty of sunloungers. The bar and eating area are great value, and the place is close to everything you need, all at a very reasonable price. Seeing some of the negative reviews, I think a few people have unrealistic expectations! 🩵

The apartment was terrible, even though the accommodation was clean and the staff were genuinely nice and helpful. The old mattress was so uncomfortable that back pain kept us from sleeping for three nights. Doubles weren’t available, so we had two single beds with just one very thin pillow each. The shower was tiny, with the curtain sticking to you, or the bathroom flooding if you left it aside. Sidari felt run down and like the Benidorm of Corfu, a dump in general. Corfu itself is beautiful, but we’d never stay in Sidari again.
