Angelina Hotel & Apartments

Really good experience at the hotel. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean, and the amenities were provided whenever needed. I’d recommend it to everyone.

The hotel was small, clean, and fairly quiet. Staff were efficient and courteous, and we swam in the lovely pool every day. We always found a sunbed, though it was September. The beach is just across the road, but we didn’t go there because it looked shabby, with broken things, litter, and worn out advertising boards. It wasn’t a great beach. I rated the location a 4 because the area was looking a bit tired. The bars all served the same food, so we drove a few miles to find something better and different. If you have transport, there are amazing beaches and restaurants not far away. The biggest downside was the mosquitoes. I guess being next to a canal means you have to expect them, and people I spoke to who return to this hotel often said it was the worst year. All in all, we had a lovely time.

We were staying somewhere else, but found out we could use this place’s breakfast buffet for €8 per person, so we came here for breakfast. The selection of hot and cold food was great, though the coffee could be better. For that price it’s hard to beat. Other places nearby charge around €4 just for a latte, while here you get unlimited food and drinks, even if the coffee comes from a basic machine.

The reception staff gave us really good suggestions for places to eat nearby. The place was amazing, about 200m from the famous amour beach. Breakfast was just enough. The rooms had a bit of an old school feel, but overall it was really good.
