Corfu Palmar Hotel

We recently stayed at this family-run hotel, and the people were so nice and helpful. The location is good, with lots of restaurants around, and the bar food we tried was delicious. Definitely recommend it.

The family running the hotel were friendly and obliging, and we had a lovely time. Our room was spotless, with a cleaner coming every day. Towels were changed regularly and the beds midway through our stay. Breakfast was really good: English bacon, a full English or continental option, Greek yoghurt, fruit, lovely bread and lurpak butter. We booked the evening meal twice and both were beautifully cooked to order at reasonable prices. There was a good range of snacks too, served until 3pm. We met some great people and would definitely come back.

We ate out locally most evenings, though the hotel serves dinner too. The bar meals were tasty and well priced, and Evie and Costa’s daughters served them. The location is handy for Canal d’Amour, the nearby beach and a good choice of tavernas. Evie, Costa, Spiros and the family made everyone feel welcome and quickly took care of every request. The rooms were comfortable, with verandas or balconies at the front and back. Rooms with their own pools seemed popular and left more space at the main hotel pool.

My parents had stayed in June, recommended it and planned to return, so my partner and I came with them last September. We loved it. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the swim-up rooms were amazing, and the food at the hotel was nice. The hotel is near some beautiful beaches. My parents went back again two weeks ago and said it was just as great as last year. Such a relaxed atmosphere, and this family-run place makes everything easy.
