Sellas Hotel

We had a really lovely week here on a late October 2025 break, self catering. The staff were great and the location was hard to fault. We’re coming back in July 2026, this time bed and breakfast, and can’t wait.

We booked a cheap break at short notice and weren’t disappointed. The location right in the middle was a big plus. Our two bedroom apartment was a little dated, but we liked having two floors, one bathroom, and an extra toilet. The beds were a bit firm for us, so we used mattress toppers.

The pool and garden are lovely and well looked after, and the comfy sunbeds made it easy to spend the day relaxing in the sun. It’s just far enough back from the strip for some peace, but close enough to walk to all the restaurants and bars. The rooms are spacious, very clean, with comfy beds and spotless linen and towels. The cleaners are thorough, friendly, and trustworthy. It’s a well run family hotel, and the staff make it feel that way: Angel, Sofia, or Nikos greet you warmly at reception, and they or the security man can help with bags after the journey. Lauren is cheerful and ready to help during the day, while Nikos at the bar in the evening is great company and makes everyone laugh. I always choose Sellas Hotel when I visit Sidari. George Sellas and the family have looked after us wonderfully again, and I’m already looking forward to coming back year after year. Definitely deserves five stars. ❤️

The rooms get very hot at night. Air conditioning is available, but it costs £75 per week. If you leave the veranda doors open for air and shut the shutters, good luck with the mosquitoes by morning. Air conditioning would keep them out and make the stay more comfortable. I don’t get why we pay to stay cool when Irish guests staying in a hotel in winter aren’t charged extra to stay warm. The hotel is right on the strip. The rooms are clean, but the shower is tiny and the curtain sticks to you no matter what you do. The beds are hard as hell, though there’s a small fridge and a TV in the room.
