Tondoris Apartments

It was my first time in Corfu, and I was travelling alone, so I felt nervous. The guys here were very welcoming and helped me feel safe, which is always my main concern. The rooms were standard, but the water was hot and the amenities were just right. Absolutely fabulous place, and hopefully I can come back soon.

The service was amazing and the hotel food was good. A pint was €4, and a Coke was €4, which is the only thing I can mention. But with a full-size pool, it has to be a 4-star hotel, not what it said it is.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the pool was stunning, always clean and inviting. The location is perfect, too. The staff are the friendliest ever. Eleven stars if I could! Can’t wait to come back. Thank you Tondoris.

The area is lovely and there’s plenty to do. I’d happily return to the area, but not this hotel. We were happy with the room itself, though one couple we spoke to by the pool said their bathroom had mold all over it. We asked for a ground-floor room because my wife is disabled, but were given a first-floor apartment. We arrived at 3 am, so couldn’t do much then. When I spoke to them in the morning, I was told it was the only room available. The room was nice, but the service left a lot to be desired. We asked about air conditioning because evenings were warm. The older man behind the bar first quoted 50 Euros for the week, but when we went to pay, it had become 100 Euros for the two remotes. The sheets were changed once during our seven days, and we only got clean bath towels once, despite asking several times. On departure day we asked the same man whether checkout was still at 12 pm, as TUI stated. He said no, it had changed to 11 am from last year, although two days earlier he’d said 12 pm. It felt like the rules were made up as they went along. Bar prices also seemed to change daily. I bought two large beers, and over the week the price was never the same twice. It became a guessing game. The difference wasn’t ridiculous, but it was 1 or 2 Euros each time. A few couples around the pool said the same thing, that you get treated differently if you spend all your spending money there, and otherwise get looked at and ignored.
