We had a great time at Varvara house and I do recommend staying there. The owners are lovely, and the apartments are beautiful, clean and stocked with lots of kitchen appliances. The pool and bar were very nice too, and there's a large parking area behind the house. There were a few drawbacks: no barbecue, outdoor shower or tap to rinse sand off your legs. The bathroom shower is small, and the curtain kept touching me when I tried to bathe, though that's typical of apartments in Greece. WiFi didn't reach the whole apartment, only one room and the balconies, but it worked perfectly at the pool bar and wasn't a big deal for us.

A really nice, tidy place, and the owners take good care of their guests. Breakfast, lunch or dinner is available, and the cocktails are great. Paying by card was no hassle. The room was cleaned every second day. The pool is perfect for cooling off and relaxing, and the place suits couples and families. The market is about two minutes away by car or perhaps a 15 minute walk, and Sidari Town is nearby too.

The best part for me was the pool, with different depths, plus all the sunbeds and umbrellas around it in the garden. It was a calm spot to lie back, read, and rest. There's a bar by the pool serving a different dish each day, as well as other menu meals. The hosts are kind, and I can really recommend the place. The houses have their own balconies, which is nice. Inside, there's an electric kettle, toaster, microwave and air conditioning. At first I thought it was quite dark, but I soon stopped noticing. Maybe because the sun doesn't shine straight into the house, it stays a bit cooler. The service cleans regularly and changes the towels. WiFi sometimes drops out, but it wasn't a big deal for me. The only real downside is the lack of mosquito nets. The shop is about a five minute walk away, while the beaches are further, maybe 20-30 minutes.

We're back for our second year, this time with our two little kids, and they love it here. The owners are lovely and welcoming. There's a nice pool, including a smaller separate one for the kids, and the food and drinks are good. We'd stay forever.
