Acrotel Elea Beach

We spent a week here in May with our two children. Our first-floor room had a sea-facing balcony, was spotless, and had very comfortable beds. The all-inclusive package felt like great value, with a good buffet selection and a wide choice of drinks. We also made full use of the mini golf and table tennis. The pool area was clean and comfortable, and we could always find sunbeds. The staff really made the holiday for us. They went out of their way to make sure we had a brilliant week. We're here for eight nights with our two kids, aged 8 and 14. It's an amazing hotel and place, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The Latin night and cooking shows they organized were really good. A gym and heated pool would be welcome, and there isn't much for children over age three. Table tennis costs 5 euros, while mini golf with its four lanes is 10 euros per hour. Kids may only play for ten minutes before stopping, so it would be better if these activities were free and they could use them more often to stay occupied.

We loved the clear, shallow beach, just a five-minute walk away, and the restaurant has a remarkable view. The staff were attentive and so friendly that the hotel felt like a lovely home. This small hotel in beautiful natural surroundings exceeded what we expected. It's a quiet, peaceful choice for families, and we're even thinking of coming back next year to this little Greek paradise.

The sunset from the restaurant is something I still remember. Food options were good, and if we asked, we could get gluten-free and nut-free meals. We did think it was a bit awkward to be charged for water at dinner, but it was a minor issue. While we went diving, childcare for a few hours was arranged for us at the sister hotel for a fee. We spent a week here with our family in August. Even at full capacity, the hotel felt relaxed rather than busy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our family room was modern and quiet. As advertised, there isn't a beach directly in front of the hotel, but we drove a few minutes to the sister hotel's organized beach, which we could use for free. There is also shallow water access beside the hotel for snorkeling.
