Eva's Houses

For the price, this cozy little house was a good deal. We stayed in number 21, about 100 m from the beach, and it had a nice little garden.

We’d stayed in the same house two years earlier, so coming back in 2022 was disappointing. The price had gone up, while the service and condition had dropped a lot. There was just one cleaning in our 10 days, compared with every three days on our previous stay. The toilet and refrigerator were both broken and never repaired, and the water pressure was very weak. The owner was hard to reach and slow to reply. The answer each time was that they were sorry but couldn’t fix it then. The cleaning lady didn’t do a good job this time either, and we had to ask for things she’d forgotten to provide. The location is good, but the owner needs to invest in the showers, toilets, and service. One cleaning in 10 days just isn’t acceptable. Also, the Wi-Fi was very bad, so working remotely from this house wasn’t possible.

We had no trouble finding a parking space, even in the morning or evening despite all the other holidaymakers. The location is the best part of the rooms. This time, the terraced house was more modern and better equipped than the one we’d booked at the resort before. The first stair step was a problem, though. It sloped upward with a gap between it and the floor, which made it an actual tripping hazard. We stayed for eight days and got fresh bed linen and towels just once. That was fine for us because there’s a washing machine. There was no housekeeping during our stay.

A lovely, really useful apartment for a family of four. We had everything we needed. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of Nikiti but still close enough for a walk. You can swim right out front, though there are much better beaches a few kilometers away. And Mr. Simos ... what can I say! Such a wonderful person!!!!
