Oreiades Parthenon

We had such a nice stay here this summer. Our host was lovely, friendly and amazing ❤️ The place is quiet and has a beautiful view, while still being close to some fantastic beaches in Sithonia. Breakfast was delicious, and we really hope to come back.

We spent Orthodox Easter at Oreiades guesthouse, a beautiful traditional stone house in the gorgeous village of Parthenonas, about 600 meters above Neos Marmaras. The terrace is surrounded by greenery and has an amazing view of the sea below. It was a perfect place for the holiday, and we even dyed red Easter eggs with Katerina, which was a lovely experience. Katerina is a wonderful hostess, warm, generous and happy to help in every way. Each morning she made an extravagant breakfast with homemade treats: strawberry jam, eggs and bacon, omelettes, seasonal fruit, French toast, mountain tea, Greek yogurt with honey and nuts, plus her handmade cheese pies and cakes. She also gave us a thoughtful Easter basket with her homemade tsoureki and resurrection candle sticks. Thank you so much for the hospitality. I definitely recommend this little gem to everyone, without a doubt, and hope to visit again soon.

Up in the mountains, the location and views are gorgeous. The staff were friendly, and the room was comfortable, very clean, and had high quality sheets and a mattress. It was super quiet and relaxing.

A rare little gem that deserves a stop. Take your time over the fabulous local breakfast, especially the delicious fig jam and honey, and enjoy the view.
