The hotel is good, with nice, helpful staff, though breakfast is only average. Porto Koufo feels like a little piece of heaven in Halkidiki, with clear water and a soothing temperature. The beach belongs to everyone, not just hotel guests, so it can get crowded sometimes. If that happens, you can still sit out on your balcony.

There’s a tavern right across the street, and more places to eat in the port, about a 10-15 minute walk away. The hotel itself is very nice, right by the beach and clean. Breakfast changes a little from one day to the next, which is a nice touch.

The rooms have been renovated recently, and the hotel sits right on the beach with easy access. It’s in a good spot, and the family who owns it are lovely and always willing to help. Thanks, Vicky and Yanni.

That incredible view is hard to enjoy when the room gets so hot. We came back for a second year, but this time the AC kept switching off whenever we went out or opened a balcony door or window. Our room was on the top floor, where the sun is very strong, and it was literally 30 degrees when we returned, according to the air conditioner. The sun sets in front of the room, making it hotter, and the AC can’t cool it down quickly enough. That’s a big problem for me, and the reason I won’t come back.

The balcony looked straight out to sea, and the hotel has such a beautiful setting and view. It was quiet and peaceful, which I really liked. Breakfast was included, and as a Turkish person who loves breakfast, I thought it was seriously good.
