The owners are very sweet and nice. They don’t speak much English, but can call someone who does. The place was clean and had everything we needed, and it was great value for the price. There are plenty of restaurants a short walk away. It’s especially convenient if you’re arriving or leaving by ferry, just a couple of minutes on foot. You can watch it come in, or see it leave from the balcony.

Hermann and Maria bring lovely starlight to Crete! I wish I could give six points. Their kindness and helpfulness, along with the cleanliness and practicality, are hard to beat. This small hotel sits right in a romantic harbor, peaceful and truly central.

The sea view from the second floor was lovely, and the little balcony had a table, two chairs, and a washing line with pegs. This is a traditional family-run Greek hotel, clean and practical, with clean linen, towels, and a fridge in the room. It's about a five-minute walk to the Sitia promenade, tavernas, and beach, and there’s handy street parking outside. The bathroom felt traditional, though the bright blue patterned tiles were a change from the brown and orange 1970s look we usually see. The shower was handheld with no overhead holder, so I had to use one hand, but it had a rustic charm. Soap and shampoo were provided. For the price and location, I’d come back when we visit Sitia again.

A handy spot for a one-night stay if you just need a bed and a shower. The hotel is around a five-minute walk from the port. The women at reception were lovely, though they only speak Greek, so have Google Translate ready.

The owner was friendly and helpful, though she only speaks Greek. The room was very clean, and the port is close by, with a pleasant ten-minute walk into the city centre. A good, affordable and welcoming place if you want to stay for a few days.
