Gorgona Hotel

The room was spacious and very clean, and we really liked its view. Everything was great, including the quiet, relaxing setting and the kind, helpful woman at reception. We enjoyed chatting with her. Thanks!

We could sit by the balcony in the evenings and catch the scent of the jasmine, or watch people passing through the square. The room was comfortable, and the hotel is lovely and well located. Above all, the owners were so kind and genuine that they made us feel like friends. 🤍

The owners were very friendly, and they speak fluent German and, of course, Greek, but no English. The rooms have a view, and parking is available. The hotel has been recently renovated, and its location feels magical. You'll need a car to get around, though.

We'd visited Skala Sikamineas many times over the years for lunch, but this time we decided to stay through the afternoon and evening and spend the night in the charming village. A friend had recommended Hotel Gorgona. We were traveling as a couple with our adult son and were given a two bedroom suite. It had a small room with a fridge and a spacious bathroom, and everything was clean. Check-in and getting the room sorted took no time and went smoothly. The receptionist was really friendly and spoke English quite well, which helped since my Greek could use some work. Breakfast was tasty and made to order out on the terrace. The area around the village is also excellent for hiking.
