Phaos at Saint John Villas with private heated pool

Tassos made everything easy, welcoming us before arrival, answering every WhatsApp question right away and arranging whatever we needed, from ATV or car rentals to taxi transfers. His service was truly high-class. The villa is peaceful and removed from Oia’s crowds and noise, but still close enough to get around easily. In my opinion, renting an ATV or car would be more practical. There’s plenty of room for two, and the minimalist design is beautiful and well thought out. Everything felt spotless and brand new. The pool is a proper, generous-sized pool, much bigger than the tiny plunge pools you often find on the cliffs, so it’s great for relaxing in the sun. A very tranquil, comfortable stay with top-notch service.

We’ve visited Santorini five times, and this has been our most beautiful stay so far. The villa was luxurious, spacious, modern and spotless. We loved the peaceful, private setting, with lovely restaurants nearby and within walking distance. Breakfast had a great choice and was brought to us by the pool every morning. Fresh towels, toiletries, and a range of tea and coffee were all there when we needed them. The owner, Tassos, was lovely and very accommodating. Staying here for a week was a pleasure, and we’ll certainly come back. :)

He got in touch on WhatsApp within minutes of our booking through his website, with villa details and suggestions for restaurants, car hire and boat trips, and he can book those for you too. He arranged our airport pickup, then met us at the villa to show us around and explain the amenities. Each morning he brought a delicious breakfast at the time we chose, then came back for the tray. There was plenty to choose from. We spent one night in, watching the sunset, and Tassos ordered food for us. It had rained, so he drove down and dried the outdoor furniture before the food arrived, letting us enjoy the terrace. On our last evening he booked a table and arranged a lovely surprise with the restaurant. That’s someone who lives and breathes hospitality. Saint John villas is beautiful, private and spotless, with luxury amenities and a stunning sea view. It’s a short walk to Oia center but away from the crowds. All we heard was water lapping over the edge of the heated pool and birds. The sunsets were just as beautiful as the ones on the Caldera. The owner has created a little piece of paradise, and we had the best experience ever. We’d return in a heartbeat. Thank you, Tassos. We can’t wait to stay with you again.
