We came early, and the kind staff offered us breakfast and a place for our luggage, with some updates based on how we travel. The apartments are nice and have everything you need. It’s up on a hill rather than by the beach, so the views are amazing, and the sunrise and pool are lovely too. Everything was clean and well air-conditioned, and they also provide pool towels.

It’s a good spot if you want somewhere quieter, and there’s a small restaurant on site if you don’t feel like heading to Skala. The bar staff are very good and the prices are reasonable. Rooms and staff were excellent. Breakfast was okay, with a good selection, so I can’t complain.

The hotel is a nice place to relax away from busy areas, and Greece is still a lovely country with lovely people. It’s on high ground, with a nice sea view from the pool, and the staff are all lovely. Our last-minute garden room was in the older section, so it didn’t have the plush modern interiors shown in some advertising, but it was large, spotless, and comfortable. Breakfast was fine. There’s a minibus to town, but book early because it fills up. The sunbed rush around the pool is pretty comical. People really are creatures of habit. We ate at the restaurant one evening. The moussaka was dry and overcooked, so we didn’t eat there again at night. The lunch menu also wasn’t to our taste: mostly burgers, chips, pizzas, and sandwiches. We don’t need gluten-free food, but we don’t like heavy meals that leave us bloated. There were a few salads, so we had Greek Salad when we stayed at the hotel, though we’d have liked a few more choices, perhaps Tzatziki or fruit salad with Greek yoghurt. I guess it caters to the bad diet of the mass UK crowd. There aren’t other places to eat within walking distance, so keep that in mind. My main issue was the increased tourist tax, not the hotel. It was 10 euro per room per night, added to the bill at the end of the stay. It may get worse, so check the extra cost before booking. Nothing is good value in Greece any more for anyone.

We’re back for a second visit, and the hotel is still wonderful. The staff are so kind, breakfast is lovely, and the pool is wonderfully chilled. There’s a beautiful view across to Skala.

The staff were the best part for us. They were really friendly, went out of their way to help, and seemed upbeat and happy to work there. We enjoyed every meal at the restaurant, with fresh food that tasted great. The rooms are clean and spacious, and there’s a good pool area with a bar, restaurant, and great views. The hotel is a couple of miles from Skala, so walking there in the heat of high summer can be hot and sweaty. The hotel runs a bus to drop you off and bring you back every 30 minutes. If you stay out after it stops, there’s a taxi rank in Skala, and we only waited a few minutes. Highly recommend.
