Hotel Abatis

The sea views were breathtaking, and Kledi at reception made the stay even better. She was warm, helpful throughout, and always made sure I had what I needed. Her attention to detail really stood out. I recently stayed here and it surpassed all my expectations. If you want lovely sea views and great service, I’d highly recommend it.

The rooms are very nice, and the terrace is great. From the lower street it’s just a couple of steps, though coming up from the upper street means a decent hill. The mosquitoes wait in the shade under the pines, so I’d air the room in the morning and then keep it shut. Once you’ve killed the ones inside the first night, the remaining nights are no problem.

The staff were lovely and helpful, and the hotel is close to the port while sitting away from the busy center. It was easy to get around from there. Our room was spacious, very clean, and well equipped, with incredible island and sea views from the terrace. I had an amazing, relaxing stay at hotel Abatis. I’m not sure why it’s rated 2 stars, since my experience felt worth much more. I’ll definitely come back.

I’ve been to Agkistri four times altogether, and stayed here on three of those trips. The people are a big part of what makes this place special, along with the location. It’s great value for money and within walking distance of Scala and the busy area.
