The hosts made us feel at home, always easy to reach and quick to help with recommendations, while never hovering. We loved the calm, private feel of the property, with greenery all around and tasteful interiors. The pool and garden were a lovely place to unwind in the sun, and the villa itself was thoughtfully set up, from its roomy bedrooms to the well-equipped kitchen and spotless bathrooms. A morning coffee by the pool and quiet evenings were hard to beat. We had a wonderful stay at Stavromenos Villas and would happily come back.

Villa Nikos gave our group of three adults and two teenagers enough room for everyone to have some privacy. We spent 10 Dreams days there, enjoying the sunset colors and the sea view, and the pool worked well for both swimming and playing. The bedrooms were comfortable and roomy, with their own bathrooms and plenty of storage. My brother especially liked having the barbecue area for cooking. Stamatis was very kind and made sure we had what we needed. I recommend it for the great value.

We had a great time here, thank you! The sea view is lovely, and the villa has an unusual interior and everything we needed to be comfortable. Shops are close enough to walk to, and there’s plenty of shaded parking around the villas too.

The host was friendly, attentive, and quick to help. The place is cosy, roomy enough for five, and well looked after, with towels including pool towels and regular cleaning. We liked the pool, outdoor area, and barbecue spot. It’s on the lively north coast, near Rethymnon and some great beaches farther west. You’ll need a car.

Stamatis was a great host and checked in regularly to see how we were getting on or whether we needed help. My family and I had a lovely week in Crete at Stavromenos villas. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in Crete.
