Angeliki Beach Hotel

The place and its location made everything easy, and the internet was reliable enough for my team and client meetings. It did slow down for about an hour, which seems unusual for Greece, but the connection was decent for calls, email and even video. I’d give the stay 10/10, maybe 11/10. The one drawback is that the bar is pricey compared with the other tavernas and bars. A guest package there might be a better deal. Still, we had a great time.

I’ve visited the island for 17 years, and this is easily my favourite place to stay. I was travelling alone for the first time, but the team made me feel safe and at home. Nikos, Panos and Christina even picked flowers for me and painted my name on a stone. Everyone was friendly, helpful and spoke great English. You can tell they care about the place and work hard to make guests comfortable. The setting is peaceful, with well kept gardens, flowers, trees and plants all around. From my terrace I could hear birds and waves, with the sea in view. The bar is only a minute away, and the restaurant served a lovely lunch every day at a reasonable price, with great service. There were free sunbeds by the garden and beach, some in the shade and some in full sun, as well as hammocks and picnic spots. My bungalow was bright, cosy and spotless, with everything I needed. The shower had strong pressure and steady hot water, the bedding was good quality, and there was a large fridge, a wardrobe with lots of hangers and an iron. I also liked the lit mirror and socket by the dressing table, the stool, the big window behind the bed for fresh air, and the little plastic seat in the bathroom. It’s about a five minute walk to town, either along the beach or through the pretty cobbled streets. The walk back at night felt safe and was well lit. Sitting outside for a nightcap, I could see the moon over the property and hear the sea. I felt secure in my room, with its own door from the terrace and a double lock. It was quiet, and I didn’t get bitten by mosquitoes. The planting seemed thought out to help keep them away, and there weren’t bushes around. The whole place has a calm, welcoming feel, even when it’s busy. I’m fussy, and I’d absolutely recommend it to adults looking for a wonderful holiday. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We’ve just come back for the second time in two years and are already talking about returning next year. The beachside location is spot on, and the rooms are modern and immaculate. The gardens are so peaceful, with no loud guests or blaring music, exactly what we wanted for a relaxing break. Swell bar serves good food at very fair prices, and the view is hard to beat. The staff are lovely too. No complaints at all, 10/10.

Everything we needed was close by, from shops and restaurants to the beach and town centre, and the bus stops right outside. The family hotel has a wonderful sea view and a lovely garden with loungers. The staff were so kind and clearly wanted us to have a great stay. We had a fantastic time, thank you!
