Blue Horizon Studios

Elaine is lovely, very friendly, and always ready to help. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the views over town were great. The hill is quite a climb, so if walking is difficult for you, this probably isn’t the best spot.

We had such a good time in Skiathos, and Blue Horizon Studios made it even better. The people running it were welcoming, friendly, and lovely. The food was delicious, and there were all sorts of drinks too, all at very decent prices. Everything was clean, including the rooms, pool, reception, and bar area. It’s also a handy location, close to the airport, so we were first off the transfer, and about 10-15min on foot from the town and ports. Bus stop 4 is nearby, though getting there means a short uphill walk. We’ll definitely return. Efcharistó 😁

In Agios Fanourios, Blue Horizon is a welcoming family-run guesthouse with a range of furnished apartments and studios. It feels like a small hotel and sits amid Skiathos’s natural beauty. There are rooms suited to couples looking for a romantic getaway, families with young children, and groups of friends.

The views down over town are great, and while the climb back up is steep at first, it gets easier as the holiday goes on. A taxi back is cheap enough too. The apartments were spotless, the food was good, and the bedrooms suited us well, with air conditioning, daily bed making, and fresh towels brought to the room. The owners were lovely, attentive, and helpful. It was our first time at Blue Horizon, though we’ve visited Skiathos many times over the years and never had a bad holiday. They call it the Boomerang Island for a reason, you keep coming back. We can’t fault this place and would recommend it to anyone.
