Meltemi by Manthos Hotels

The harbour location was absolutely great. If you have a ferry, you can wait on the balcony facing the harbour and head down once you see it come in, just as we did. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and our clean, well-equipped room had a kettle and fridge.

We came for a pancake and Caesar salad, but the food was below good. The two stars are for the waitress, who seemed to be working almost alone and was lovely with customers. People were waiting to order while the rest of the staff relaxed and drank without paying attention to them.

We stopped in for breakfast. The food was fine, pretty average, but the waitress made the visit much nicer. She was kind, funny, and very pleasant.

A weather warning stopped my water taxi from going to Skopelos, so I unexpectedly had to stay at Hotel Meltemi. What might have been a stressful delay turned into a surprisingly pleasant stay. Maria at the front desk was especially helpful and welcoming, offering recommendations and assistance with a cheerful, professional manner. The service was efficient and genuinely friendly, and the room was quaint, comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with everything I needed. The price felt fair, which I appreciated while stuck in a difficult spot. The location also works well for reaching both the port and airport. If I need to stay in Skiathos again, Hotel Meltemi will be my first choice. Highly recommended, whether you're here by chance or for convenience.
