The staff team may be small, but they’re lovely and took great care of us. They shared recommendations for things to do, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. We stayed for five nights, had a great time, and would recommend it to anyone visiting Skiathos. It’s centrally located, about a 5-10 minute walk from the centre.

We had the family grand villa, which was really spacious and had a jacuzzi. The sea was visible from the tap terrace, and it was beautiful. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. The place was ideally located, far enough from the hustle and bustle but only a 10-minute walk to the town centre. Breakfast was really nice with a good selection, and they also served food and drinks during the day and evening. I stayed three nights with my sisters and cousin. It was a lovely place, and I’d definitely come back. Thank you for a beautiful stay.

Our suite had plenty of room for the family, with lovely views over the pool and the charming village of Skiathos. The atmosphere was relaxing, yet the lively town centre was only a short walk away, making it easy to get to restaurants, shops and the port. The kids especially loved the pool, and breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious with lots of options. Staff were consistently friendly, attentive and glad to suggest beaches and things to do around Skiathos. We had a wonderful family stay at Mystery Skiathos Luxury Residence in August, and felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived.

We’re posting this update so potential guests know that the serious safety incident from August 2025 remains unresolved. The glass shower screen in our bathroom collapsed and caused several injuries, including a cut that needed stitches. We have emailed the hotel twice since then and received no response. They replied here on TripAdvisor, but our requests for insurer details, timelines and compensation still haven’t been addressed. We’re sharing the facts to help others make informed decisions.

Do not stay here. In August 2025, the glass shower screen suddenly collapsed while we were staying there, seriously injuring both of us. My partner needed stitches, and broken glass cut my feet. The owner left us at the hospital. The hotel offered no first aid, apology, alternative room or repair, and left the room completely unsafe. This is a major safety hazard. We’re making this public so the hotel takes action before anyone else is hurt.
