Stathis House

The location worked really well for us, right between Skiathos town center and the road out to the rest of the island and its beaches. Markets, boulangeries, and a laundry are nearby too. The rooms are basic but have what you need, including a money locker, a good hair dryer, and kitchen basics, and they're kept very clean. A lady comes daily to clean and change the bathroom floor towel, with all the towels changed every two days. Dimosthenis, who runs the place, is wonderfully hospitable. We stayed here a few years ago and were glad to come back. Great value for money, and we'll return again. Thank you.

Dennis' recommendations really helped us discover Skiathos, from secluded beaches and hidden hiking trails to good local places to eat. We felt we could explore the island like locals. He was always around to answer questions and make sure we were comfortable, and greeted us so warmly that we felt like old friends right away. We stayed for two nights, arriving Monday 8/21, in a spacious, clean apartment. We only needed two bedrooms, so Dennis let us use two of the three rooms. The apartment was in Skiathos town, with attractions, beaches, and restaurants within walking distance, yet it stayed peaceful and quiet at night.
