Ritsa Apartments

We spent most days at the beach, so the hotel's great location, tucked just behind the busy town, worked well for us. The facilities are basic, though the bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. Rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels, the balcony overlooked the pool, and the complimentary wine on arrival was a nice touch. The pool area was the letdown. Over our 10 days, the bar never opened, the grass was long and untidy, and the plants around the pool were wilted and dying. The flimsy sunbeds were extremely uncomfortable, and with no music or bar the atmosphere felt dull. If spending time around the pool is central to your stay, I wouldn't recommend it.

The apartments were comfortable, charming and quiet, in a handy location. Our air-conditioned room worked well for our family of four, including two teenagers. Everyone on staff was friendly, and offered helpful advice when we asked. The woman who cleaned our room each day was thorough and incredibly sweet. Thanks for a wonderful week.

We had a brilliant family holiday at Ritsa and would highly recommend it. The pool was lovely, the location was excellent, and everything was extremely clean. Our room had all we needed for four of us, with kids aged 5 and 8, and there's a mini market just a two-minute walk away. Towels and bedding were changed frequently, and the room was cleaned daily. The woman handling reception and all the cleaning was lovely.

The pool was lush, and most of the time I had it to myself. It's a very quiet complex but close to the main road into the old harbour and shops. The only small fault was the shower, which was a bit low, around waist height, though it worked fine. There isn't a shallow end, so I wouldn't recommend it for young children. I'd definitely come back and stay here again.
