Anelli Hotel

We stayed in Skopelos in mid October. The room was comfortable and the shower was good, and the owner was friendly. The cleaning lady did a very good job. We booked directly with the hotel and got a better price than on Booking.

We came as a big group and had to change our booking after a cancellation. The hosts were patient with us and incredibly kind to everyone, from the kids to grandma. It’s a family place that made us feel welcome, with professional service and really clean rooms. The location is close to the port, in the village and right beside the court, but on a small road. We didn’t have to worry about noise at night or during the day. Everyone loved it, and we’ll certainly come back. Thanks for everything 🥰

We were lucky to get into our room early, so we could leave our things, change into our bathing suits, and head straight to the beach. The owner was very nice and accommodating. I’d pay the few extra euros for a sea view room, as we did, because it was well worth it. The hotel has lovely stone floors and dark wood framed windows, balconies, and railings, and the beds seemed to have been replaced recently. It keeps that classic Skopelos look. It’s just at the edge of the busier town area, very close to the ferry and shops and restaurants, and only a street or two from the main junction for heading out to the beaches. A small nightclub is one street over, but we couldn’t hear it with the windows closed. With air conditioning, we wanted them closed anyway. Excellent hotel and price.

It’s a family-run hotel with decent rooms, good value, and a low key, Covid-safe feel. The port is less than five minutes away, and all the shops you might need are a short walk from the hotel. The owner is knowledgeable and well educated, and has very good taste for a Greek man. When we asked him where to eat, he recommended some unbelievably good local restaurants. We’d be happy to stay again and spend more time chatting with him.
