The apartment felt spacious and was clean, and we had a really pleasant stay. The water temperature was the one letdown; apart from that, everything was perfect.

We booked this apartment on Airbnb, but ended up leaving as soon as we arrived and searching for another place. Though it looked very modern, the bedroom hadn't been cleaned and there was a smell of smoke in the room. Outside, construction sites nearby made it really noisy, and the pool was tiny with hardly any sunbeds. The one star is for how quickly they cancelled.

The address sent us to the wrong place: Korai street in Chania comes up on Google Maps, but the correct address is Dominikou Theorokopoulou in Souda. We went to the first one by mistake. I even pointed this out to the staff when it happened, so I'm surprised the map listing still hasn't been corrected. Still, it's a great place to stay in Souda, on the outskirts of Chania, and I'd highly recommend it! :)

The area isn't great, with busy roads and construction sites nearby. Inside, people were partying and there was tobacco smoke everywhere, and management didn't enforce any rules. I wouldn't recommend it for families. It might be all right if you're not travelling with family. I'm surprised anyone gives it more than two stars...

It's a beautiful, modern, clean place in a quiet neighborhood. The city center is about a 10-15 minute drive away.
