We only had one night here because of our itinerary, and it worked out really well. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean and felt safe. Restaurants, markets, and a great beach are all an easy walk away.

Our first visit to Aretousa hotel was with our family of three, and we’d happily return. The room was clean, with comfortable beds, a pleasant decor, and a balcony looking out toward the mountains and Cretan wild nature. Having a small kitchen area and a table and chairs on the balcony was handy. It’s good value for the South of Crete.

The beach is just a few minutes away, and the rooms are spotless with lovely balconies. The staff were so warm and helpful that we felt familiar with the place right away. For us, this is easily the best accommodation in Sougia, and we absolutely recommend it.

We were walking the E4 and stayed two nights at Aretousa Hotel. The manager was helpful, especially when the ferries weren't running and we needed our bags transferred to the next stop. Our room was clean and spacious, with a double bed, a single bed, and a roomy balcony with comfortable chairs. The bathroom and kitchenette were clean too.
