Kastro Hotel

We spent a lot of time relaxing in the shaded courtyard by the lovely pool, and enjoyed cocktails at the bar in the evenings. If tequila’s your thing, try the Spicy Kastro. Our room was spotless and looked out over the sea. Breakfast was delicious, with homemade cheese pies and jams, eggs, fresh-squeezed juice, and more. There’s a little beach just steps away where we swam in clear water, and the port is about a five-minute walk. We’d come back with our family.

We loved our time here and would come back without hesitation. The staff were so friendly, and the location is hard to beat. It’s around five minutes from the city Centre, but far enough away that it stays quiet. A lovely little bit of Greece.

The staff seemed genuinely happy to help, which made the stay feel very welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, especially the homemade cakes and jam. The hotel itself is pleasant, and the rooms are spacious. The pool is very small, though. All in all, a really nice experience. Thanks so much.

There’s a tiny kitchen in our room, and the courtyard, where breakfast is served, and the bar are both lovely. The one drawback was the lack of closet storage. I’d pack lighter next time and use the outdoor clothesline to wash and dry things.
