Porto Vecchio Luxury Suites

Dimitrios and his team helped us with sightseeing boat, taxi and restaurant bookings during our short two-night visit. Breakfast each day was fresh and generous. We stayed as a family of four in the three-bedroom apartment on the upper floor of the cute building at the old harbour. It’s about a 10-minute walk, or a 5-minute taxi ride, from the main ferry pier. The place is just down from Coconut Bar, as others have mentioned. Our bedrooms faced the back and were separated from the living area by a door, so we didn’t hear as much once we went to bed. The living area opens to a lovely terrace overlooking the old harbour. We were really happy with the stay, though one more day would have been nice.

The owners and staff are lovely, welcoming and always ready to help. The WiFi, air conditioning, TV, plumbing and shower all worked reliably, which you can’t always count on. Everything was beautifully furnished, from the bedroom and bathroom to the linens. In the Old Harbour, bars and restaurants are right on the doorstep, but they don’t disturb the peaceful feel of the place. There’s activity around the harbour, of course, yet inside the room you’d never know it. A real gem.

We had a great weekend as a couple. The location made it easy to reach restaurants and nightlife, and we could walk to two beaches. Dimitrious and the staff were attentive and helpful. Our room was spacious, with a desk, sofa and kitchenette. We’re looking forward to coming back.

We came with my family for my birthday, and the owners even left me a surprise in the room. The staff were friendly and attentive, and went out of their way to make sure everything was right. Our room was clean, spacious and well-appointed, with a great view of the old Port. It was an amazing stay, comfortable and memorable. The hotel is fairly close to the city, and you can get there on foot or on horseback, a lovely way to see the island. I’d definitely recommend it.
