The service ruined what was otherwise a more or less acceptable stay. I won't be coming back, and I'd suggest looking at the hotel next door. At check-in, the hostess or administrator said she'd expected us at 6 a.m., although we arrived in the afternoon. It came across as a complaint. We didn't think much of it at the time. The so-called all-inclusive rules around drinks were hard to understand. Water, machine juice, coffee, and tea were available only at breakfast, and at dinner they even turned off the water. It felt like we were being pushed to buy drinks from the hotel at twice the price. I might not have minded paying, but the way the hostess and staff handled things was unacceptable. I brought my own drink and politely asked for a glass at the bar. They took it away and said I couldn't bring my own. I tried to understand why I, as a paying guest and not someone walking in off the street, couldn't have my own drink when no drinks, not even plain water, were provided free with dinner. They said an inspection might come and fine the hostess. They even asked me to put my opened drink on the floor, where it could get sand in it. I refused, and we eventually agreed I could leave it on a nearby table. What bothered me was that nobody had told me about this rule beforehand. The management could have shown some hospitality and offered to pour my drink into a proper glass as a simple compromise. Instead, there was no tact or care for the guest, and no sense that the guest might be right. After that, I stopped buying drinks at the hotel, even though I had bought them earlier. I just didn't want any more interaction with the hostess or staff. Later I wanted to have some local wine on my balcony. I bought it at a market a couple of meters away, since the hotel didn't offer that kind of wine. When I asked at the bar for wine glasses, they gave me two poorly washed plastic ones, despite having clean glass ones right there. They refused when I asked for proper glasses. Absurd.

The food was delicious, with a lovely taste of Greece, and our room was spacious, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and always made us feel welcome. With the beach just a few steps away, this was a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

What should have been an acceptable stay was spoiled by the service. Never again, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. The hostess and staff's attitude completely ruined the impression. At check-in, the hostess or administrator said she'd been expecting us at 6 in the morning, even though we arrived in the afternoon. It sounded like a complaint, but we didn't pay much attention then. I couldn't make sense of the all-inclusive restrictions. Water, machine juices, coffee, and tea were only available at breakfast, and they even switched off the water at dinner. It felt like guests were being made to buy drinks at double the price. The way they dealt with my own drink was what really upset me. I asked for a glass at the bar, and they took it away, saying I couldn't bring my own. I wanted to know why I, as a hotel guest rather than someone from the street coming into the evening restaurant, couldn't have my own drink when nothing, not even plain water, was served free with dinner. They said some kind of “finansa” might come and fine the hostess. They asked me to put the opened drink on the floor where sand could get into it. I refused, and we settled on leaving it on a nearby table. No one had warned me about this rule. A hospitable owner could have offered to pour the drink into a glass to avoid trouble with the “FINANSA,” or simply made a compromise the first time. There was no tact or basic idea that the guest is always right. It felt like plain rural trash, with no manners and only a desire to squeeze out as much money as possible. After that I deliberately stopped buying drinks there, although I had before. I had no desire to talk to the village-bumpkin hostess or her thug-like staff. I later bought local wine at a market a couple of meters away to have on my balcony, since the hotel didn't offer that wine. At the bar, I asked for empty wine glasses and got two poorly washed plastic ones, even though proper glass ones were right there. They refused when I asked for glass ones. How absurd.

We were there in July 2023, and the hotel's spot near the sea was a real plus. Our sea-view room had a great panorama, and the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and clean. The food selection was varied and delicious. The staff were polite and very friendly, and tried to sort out any problems. I recommend the hotel and the experience!
