Aulus Chania All-Inclusive Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton - Adults Only

We came as a family with three young children and were put in two rooms far apart. There were many empty rooms nearby, and we even offered to downgrade so we could stay close together. Staff took note of our request but never followed up, so we had to split up during the holiday because the children were afraid to sleep alone. It spoiled the experience, and the staff seemed indifferent to our requests and whether we enjoyed ourselves. The hotel itself is new and beautifully designed, with lovely sea views, relaxing pools, and a peaceful atmosphere. Still, a beautiful property means little when the service is missing.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel was pleasant and high standard, and I'd recommend it for families. The staff were courteous and the service stood out, especially Mary and Iulian. It's a good place to stay when arriving at Chania airport. If you need a rental car, the hotel can help, and TIC car rental was very good and well priced.

The breakfast could use more choice; it felt limited for a hotel of this standard. Still, the staff's hospitality and upbeat energy left us with a great impression. We stayed as a company group and found the rooms comfortable and clean, the shared spaces well kept, and the facilities good for relaxing. Reception were always smiling and ready to help, and the pool bar service was quick and cheerful. Eva was especially lovely, and Katarina at the spa welcomed us warmly and made us feel special during our treatments.

The proposal was the surprise of the week. Mari gave my partner her time and helped arrange everything, and Mary recommended a beautiful rooftop restaurant and booked it for us. I thought it was going to be an ordinary holiday until he proposed. Thank you so much, it couldn't have felt more special. We stayed at Isla Brown for a perfect week. Julian, ilyas, and Amanda at reception were helpful from the start, and Jordan showed us to our room. The welcome prosecco and little gestures made everything feel relaxed. Our King Atrium Room with Garden View was spotless and conveniently close to the restaurant, pool, and terrace bar. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere and smells amazing throughout. The pool loungers were very comfortable, and I personally loved the salt water. The pool was unusually deep, which suited us and kept the water cool. Food was fresh, with enough choice at breakfast and dinner, and dishes were replenished as needed. The drinks were good too; I recommend the piña colada and cafe freddo. Thank you, Krystos, Alex, Berber, and everyone else. All the staff were friendly and ready to help. The views are stunning, and there's a shuttle to Chania town morning and evening. We preferred the evening one, from 5-10pm. It was a beautiful stay that gave us memories we'll treasure, and we can't wait to return. Thankyou from Maz & Saniye.
