The room itself could use some work. It felt a little below the standard of the rest of the hotel, and some renovation would help bring it in line with the atmosphere and quality elsewhere. Still, the setting is lovely, with beautiful views over the area and a distinctive, charming design. There’s a mini farm right beside the hotel, which is a fun detail for families and animal lovers. Breakfast was generous and varied, and seemed thoughtfully prepared. The morning staff were warm and welcoming, too. It’s a great base for trips and sports activities, and the views and breakfast made the stay special. I’d recommend it despite the room condition.

We spent two nights soaking up the atmosphere. The place consists of several castles, each with four or five apartments. The rooms are simply furnished, but that suits the charm of the setting.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. The staff made the stay, though: friendly, professional, and ready to help with a smile. From arrival through checkout, everything felt easy and welcoming. You can tell the team cares about its guests, and the housekeeping staff pay attention to the details. Thanks for a lovely visit.

We stopped in for coffee and had a great time. It was very peaceful at this time of year, with lots of greenery and lovely scenery. There’s a wooden tower you can climb for the views, and a telescope for getting a closer look, which works with a euro (1€). There’s also a small park with swings for children and an area where you can walk around and see animals, including a donkey, ducks, a pony, rabbits, and birds. The ostrich and emu amazed me. I’d never seen either one alive before.
