Ilya Botanic Suites Alonissos

Getting around takes a bit of planning, since you'd really need a car or a taxi, though there are a few buses. We walked a lot and also toured the island by car. We stayed for 10 days as a couple in late September 2023, almost at the end of the season, and loved it. The local restaurants were superb, especially the fish, and the beaches were quiet. Our host was always willing to help, and the rooms were modern and stylish. I fully recommend staying here.

The owner is a wonderful host, and we were very comfortable. The architecture has won awards, the sea views are lovely, and some very good restaurants are an easy walk away.

We loved how comfortable and beautifully looked after the property was. Dimitris and the staff were so welcoming and kind, helping with everything we needed and making our time in Steni Vala really relaxing. A peaceful pebble beach, my favorite on the island, is a short walk beneath the pine trees. The harbour has excellent restaurants, and there are cafes and a supermarket nearby too, so everything you need is close. We had a wonderful stay at Ilya Botanical Suites and are already thinking about coming back.

The balcony hot tub has an incredible view of the sea, and the design is remarkable. Dimitri was polite and helpful, with tips on places to see and eat that made our holiday even better. A perfect place for an amazing break. Thank you!
