We spent 14 nights at the hotel. The room was small, and the balcony even smaller, but we didn’t mind. Air conditioning worked very well, though the island had some power outages during our stay. Breakfast was simple but sufficient. The pool is great, with a sea view and pleasantly cool, very deep water. Everything else went smoothly.

This is a quiet, family run place on a peaceful island with no cars or mopeds. We stayed three nights while island hopping and had a great time. The owners are very friendly and around whenever you need them. The rooms are basic, with the essentials: comfortable beds, a shower with no curtain, air conditioning, and a mini bar. The best part is the stunning view across the sea water swimming pool to Kalymnos. Don’t expect frills, but it’s a lovely stay.

This island’s appeal is really its people and the way they live. If you want fancy infrastructure and long international wine lists, this probably isn’t the place for you. But if you’re open to meeting people and getting to know them, you may feel like part of the family. Telendos won’t suit everyone, but those it does suit will fall in love. It feels like a home away from home: nothing luxurious or perfect, just what a modest person needs for a peaceful holiday.

The rooms, balconies, and views are gorgeous, the kind you think only exist in movies. The hosts may be the nicest ever, and the included breakfast was fantastic, especially the lovely frappe and Greek honey. Faultless. I’m counting down until I can return. Please don’t change a thing! 😊
