Dream Villa

We had such a relaxing stay, with lovely views and a beautiful pool in a private spot. The owner was very helpful, and Dimitris was always around if we needed anything. It was great having a BBQ and some nice local restaurants nearby. We’ve booked for next year!

The owners live below the villa and were the highlight of our stay. They stocked the fridge before we arrived, brought us homemade crepes, baklava, and moussaka through the week, and even found charcoal for the BBQ. They were incredibly friendly and kind, always there if needed but never intrusive. The villa sits high above the village of Vourvolos, surrounded by rural land, with a sweeping 180-degree sea view. It’s quiet and completely private, with a secluded terrace, cool pool, sun loungers, and a shaded dining area. The villa, bedrooms, and bathrooms were immaculate, air-conditioned, and serviced daily if you wanted. There’s off-road parking behind a locked gate, and a hire car is definitely advised. It’s a heavenly place away from the busy main towns, which are all 10-15 mins away.

We arrived to find the fridge stocked with essential food and snacks. The owner lives nearby and was helpful, respectful, and pleasant, available whenever we needed something. He also cleaned the pool early in the morning whenever it needed it. The pool was lovely and clean, and the room, kitchen, and bathroom were spotless. The building felt cozy, with decor that mixed modern design and a hint of ancient style. We stayed a week at this villa and loved the privacy, cleanliness, and stunning view. Its location is convenient for the market, shop, and airport. Highly recommend. If I visit Santorini again, this is where I’ll stay.

We’re already coming back for our second year. The first time, I proposed with help from the lovely owners, who couldn’t have been more helpful. They always made us feel welcome, brought Greek treats during the holiday, and treated us like family. The villa is beautiful and has everything you need, with great views, an amazing pool, and a stocked fridge on arrival. It’s a great price and only a 5 minute drive from restaurants. We tell everyone how special the place and owners are, and we’ll miss them all. The villa manager and panos the taxi driver were also really helpful and friendly, always available when we needed them. And melita the dog 🐶. We’ll be back in 2028 10000%.
