Villa Rodakes

Olga made the stay easier from the start, even arranging for our rental car to be delivered to and collected from the Villa. With a car, the location worked better for us than Fire, Oia, or the busier towns: it’s quieter, has lovely views of the island and sea, and sits right by the main road on the east side, so getting around is easy. Vourvoulos was a nice place to stay too. We loved Roza's restaurant, just a five-minute walk away, and My Santorini Massage even offers massages at the Villa. There’s also a mini market near Roza's for snacks, toiletries, sunscreen, and other things you might need. The Villa was clean and well kept. Olga left us fresh fruit, bread, water, eggs, and other essentials, which made things even better. We had a fabulous time and would likely stay at the same Villa if we return to Santorini.

Villa Rodakes is in Vourvoulos, away from the crowds but close to what you need, with a lovely view and a peaceful setting that lets you experience Santorini’s authentic atmosphere. The villa itself is bright and spacious, with elegant furnishings, careful design, and impeccable cleanliness. It felt like a little piece of paradise, and the whole experience will stay with me. Olga is a big part of what made this stay so special. She welcomed us at the villa with real warmth, and her advice, kindness, and availability were wonderful. The house matched its published description in every way. It was in excellent condition, exceptionally clean, and air-conditioned. The infinity pool was very pleasant, and the setting felt like a complete change of scene. A car is essential. The electrical outlets work with French plugs of any model. A pool specialist checked and cleaned the pool discreetly every morning. A very kind woman came daily to clean, change all the towels, including the pool towels, and do the dishes. There’s no dishwasher or washing machine, but she took care of everything, and a laundry service is available, as water is scarce and precious on an island.
