The apartment itself was okay, but getting settled was a mess. The door had the wrong phone number and I had no access code. It was cold and raining, and nobody was there to help. I waited three hours before Check24 finally sorted it out. Then I found there was no hot water, so I couldn't shower. I sent the person in charge photos and a video of the radiator on WhatsApp, trying to help, and that was how my vacation started. To reach a bus stop, I had to walk through an industrial area full of ruins. I was frightened enough that I tried to get back before dark.
I found broken asbestos right below the balcony, which is a serious health concern and may cause cancer. The property is managed by HALU, but they hadn't mentioned these hazards and refused to offer a solution. The neighborhood is mostly factories and garages, with heavy air pollution, and it's very noisy at night. There were also marks on the furniture that looked like sperm. Just avoid it.
We had great views of the sea and mountains from the two balconies, and the apartment was clean. We had to buy our own trash bags, but that was the only small thing missing. Getting into our original room was a problem because there was no key. The staff were really helpful despite it being late, and found us another apartment almost right away. The neighborhood is pretty gritty, with lots of brothels, so I wouldn't go out at night. Parking is free, but finding a space means arriving after 7 PM or early in the morning. If you want somewhere cheap near the city where you can sleep comfortably, this works well.
The view was just perfect!
