The ground floor rooms have a lovely garden balcony, a nice place to relax or get work done. Check-in was easy too: they sent the building and room codes before arrival. The team was quick to respond and ready to help at any hour. My room had a washing machine, AC, TV, stove, oven, large fridge, and basic kitchen utensils. It's a new place, with Ikea products throughout, and the design still feels carefully done. Getting into the center was easier than I expected. Thessaloniki is compact, and walking to its heart took about 15 minutes. There were also bus stops about five minutes away, with a roughly 10-minute ride into the center. After looking through a lot of places, I found Halu much more affordable and better than the other options. I had a very comfortable, affordable stay and would like to come back. Highly recommend it for a visit to Thessaloniki.

Everything was digital, easy, and comfortable, with a washing machine, cooker, dishwasher, hair dryer and all the rest right in the room. The one small annoyance was the neighbour's dog, which seemed unfriendly. Still, that's not really something the hotel can be blamed for.

The only drawback was the neighborhood, which felt a bit sketchy, though the particular street was quiet. For the price, it was great value, and I booked through Agoda. The apartment was spacious and had all sorts of useful things: pots and pans, dishes, utensils, a cheese grater, washing machine, drying rack, and iron. There was cold water in the fridge and nescafe on the counter. The bed was big and comfortable. Just remember to switch on the water heater about 20 minutes before showering. The timer switch is in the fuse box and easy to use.
